Clean tidy hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value and service. Great location. Large car park close. About £15per 24 hours. Easy access to Norwich city centre, the cathedral and castle. Close to the river . Would recommend.
Not the first time here, and for a reason. While all Travelodges offer great value, this particular one is even better value because it’s not behind a service station on an outer ring road miles from anywhere. It’s absolutely in the centre of Norwich and a 7 minute walk from the station. There are restaurants and pubs nearby.nThis hotel is less than half the price of 4 star hotels in the city with similar facilities.
This was a great hotel to stay for two nights, coming at a cheap rate for an accessible room with my friend at peak times! The beds are comfortable and plenty of storage space is available on the sides or tables, chairs can be used for this too when lying on beds instead of sitting down. Lights were reliable and the location is so good around two minutes from the biggest nightclubs, not the next buildings literally therefore noise level is not high at all! Lift is efficient as expected and the corridor is easy to find our room from, staff were friendly although the reception is quite small for a Travelodge. The bathroom facilities were reliable for their purpose although the shower became problematic when it leaked twice after short showers, going out into the bedroom and staff were slow in their response to our issue here.
The location is good as it is central to the train station and major city locations but I didn't enjoy my stay. The window wasn't closing properly hence, I had the worse night of my life. Noise outside was super loud due to cars passing at night. Had migraine and could bearly sleep. Couldn't leave a feedback at the reception as there was no one there when I was leaving. I have had better experience with other travelodge in other cities but not this one sadly
Visit 19th September 2025. Rooms of adequate quality. Staff pleasant and efficient. Bar 85 available for food and drinks. Breakfast buffet £10.75 was adequate.
