I love this hotel. It's basic but clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I also really like that you have to ask to get towels and bed linens changed, and the staff don't bother you unless you ask. I've stayed twice and both times had a room overlooking the back garden and river, which is so peaceful. The shower pressure is wonderful. The location is great, being right next door to the station. The only think I would like to change is being able to have a breakfast which has good coffee! that isn't a buffet for a lower price. The breakfast is good though!
Have lunch here on match days and have to say on most occasions it is very good but have noticed over last few visits that a fair few items not available on the menu Service was excellent and super quick. Mum and I normally stick to the smothered chicken so can't really go wrong.nRecommend for location and ease. You have to book on match days but on a stay over 2 weeks ago I just walked in.nVariety of menu not great. Has gone down over the last 12 months.nGreat value for money though.
Nice friendly and welcoming staff, room was nice & clean and had fully working air-conditioning, enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Location was 10/10, absolutely stunning view in the morning at breakfast time, video clip doesn't do justice at how amazing it was, car park was easily accessible & plenty of parking spaces.nShame when reading the reviews for Premier inn, Norwich weren't all that good, but I'm glad I chose to stay at this 1, definitely recommend and would come again, doesn't look tired on the outside or inside.
One of my worst experiences with hotels. The very first night, the toilet was blocked. Even after repeated requests, change of rooms were not given due to shortage of family rooms. However I was told that we would be given a new room the very next day. And a makeshift arrangement was done where the rooms toilet was fixed but it did have a really bad smell throughout our stay.nVery next morning they took my request and promised to give a room by evening once the guests have checked out. Again approached them for the new room and was given the same answer that the previous staff didn’t block the room and it was handed out to the new guests . In order to compensate for this I was given 3 days free breakfast but on review of my invoice, they haven’t refunded the money paid by me for the breakfast for 2 days. Literally the worst English breakfast I have ever had in my life so far in the UK. The hotel itself is understaffed and the room itself lacked the hygiene. I wonder how they are operating especially in UK with such strict health and hygiene standards.nPlease avoid this hotel at any cost especially when you are travelling with kids.nIf you stay, stay away from the food.
Good comfy room but probably should be a single bed as I stubbed my toe a few times. Room 511. I asked for just shower as easy access and staff sorted this. Brilliant.nHandy for station. Next to river. Uphill to cathedral but bus stop and also stop for open top bus very close. Table table easy access just along a corridor. All in all a really ideal hotel
