We attended a wedding and stayed the night. The reception check in staff were fantastic and arranged our room was available slightly earlier to get changed before the wedding. The rooms were great, clean, comfy bed and the shower was very powerful. The wedding host was a very capable chap, nothing was too much trouble and it was a really enjoyable stay. Well done to everyone involved in keeping the place running, a great place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
A delightful historic hotel. The staff are brilliant, going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. It is right next door to the cathedral and perfectly placed to visit the whole city centre. The rooms are really comfortable with a pillow menu to make sure you sleep well. The breakfasts are delicious. A masterclass in taking an old building that is hundreds of years old and turning it into a modern hotel.
Lying in the 170pound room at the Maids Head listening to wedding classics from Wham, The Bee Gees and I think Joan Jett. No mention when booking that we would be trying to sleep on top of a wedding reception! The Travelodge would have been a better shout. Too bad really as stayed here a week ago in a nice quiet room for 70 quid less. Well I hope the happy couple enjoyed themselves.
I fell in love with Norwich after my daughter went abroad to study there. I have always wanted to stay at the Maid’s Head hotel and finally got my chance! The room was exquisite and I loved seeing the cathedral spire from my window! The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel could not be better situated! I would stay again in a heartbeat!
Came to this amazing hotel in an amazing location in the City. we were bought afternoon tea as a gift. The food was amazing. We were looked after by a very polite and friendly waiter called Nathan. Thank you for a great experience. Would definitely recommend.
