We have stayed twice in this hotel and loved it both times can't fault it, lovely rooms very clean nice beds , lovely staff brillant for are one night stay when we going clubbing hope to return soon

Room was lovely although a little small. The bass could be heard faintly from the top floor (room 10). Owner was very nice and helpful, would recommend. 😊

As someone who spends a lot of time in Premier Inns and Best Westerns, I understand that an early breakfast, late check in and European wide consistency is important to most companies; booking an independent hotel is just not worth the hassle However, as a self employed/small business owner, I always like to give the little guys a chance and, in this case, I was not disappointed. The room was simple and well furnished with a nod towards the modern wave of art deco revisionism that is very popular in boutique hotels. The bathroom was clean and came with no nasty surprises, though it's arrangement was more favorable for shorter guests. Basically, is it an amazing, must see, boutique hotel with hidden speak easy bar and it's own custom cocktail menu? No. Is it a clean, inoffensive little place in the center of Norwich that isn't going to cost the earth, double book your room or decide that it's optional to provide soap, hot water, breakfast or any of the other essentials that are often overlooked in this price bracket. Yes!! Negative It's not perfect; two things stand out as worthy of comment. 1) I joked about it earlier but the bathroom is designed for short people, if you are tall and have back problems, you shouldn't book here. It's not that you won't fit, it's just that using the sink and the mirror will be problematic 2) They close at around 2300. I should point out that I was called by them and provisions were made for me to meet the manager and pick up my key after closing time. The manager was brilliant and it wasn't anything like the faffI thought it might be. But I'd hate for anybody to book here, have an other wise perfect time and then leave a bad review because they weren't expecting this. Overall Great value for money and a refreshing break from waking up to a gurning Lenny Henry

Rooms in poor state.. light fittings not working and it felt more like a bedsit than a hotel.
