No disabled parking and if there is you better get here before 6am otherwise parking charge £8 for 24 hours next door.nParking next door hasn't got any easy access way to the hotel and every one goes under this broken side gate at the back of the carpark to get to the front of the hotel.ncarpark needs a better access to the hotel.nBut as always in the UK it's privately owned and there not bothered about your access to the hotel sadly.nnRoom 308 was basic very weird shape.nThe TV was tiny and to small for the room size .nThe Room was definitely not the cleanest.nHairs and stains in both bathroom and on the bedsnThe bath size is more for kids very small.nHotel doors extremely heavy and a disabled person wouldn't be able to manage without help.nIf your not disabled this location wouldn't be a problem. Staff at the reception where helpful but will keep you waiting while they chat away to collages first. You can tell there was a lack of interest in what you had to say.nI would recommend not paying more than the cheapest rate around £42 not a penny more because don't forget parking charge applies.
Stayed in room 103 - room had a very strong unpleasant smell when we entered, no matter if we left windows open or aired out the room the smell would return so was coming from something inside. Toilet paper was half empty and on the floor when we came in, not on the holder. Constant loud clicking sound could be heard if windows were open in all hours of day and night, if windows were shut fould still hear it faintly. Service was good, person who served us was sweet. Breakfast was OK, we ate around 8 am and a number of the items were gone and not refilled for the hour we were sat in the breakfast area.
The location is really nice, the nearest tram stop is only about a 3 minute walk. I’d say that’s the only good part of this hotel honestly.nnPreviously before we even stayed here a family member had stayed here before and left their charger not even 24 hours after they realised we had went to the hotel desk and rang and told them the situation they said they would “check” for a charger and get back to us… long story short they didn’t we rang them back and went in and said there was no charger. Pretty sure the staff took it homennNow when we stayed.. last night for 2 nights. Upon arrival we got our cards and went straight into the room. The bathroom was atrocious. The bath was covered in drips of dirt, the taps and handles where covered in a thick layer of soap scum, the bottom of the bath was not even kidding brown, there was dark pubic hair in the bath tub… I’m light blonde.. If this didn’t already make me feel disgusted I opened the bin to find a load of blood and dirt all over the lid of the bin. Other people in the hotel was complaining as well about how dirty it is and how it’s a rip off compared to holiday inn who have breakfast and internet included and nice clean rooms. Absolutely would not recommend at all, save yourself the hastle and go to holiday inn or even premier inn. Absolute waste of money. They also promoted disability friendly but they give you bath tubs with walls that you can’t even get into to as the walls are too high.
Good, clean, brilliant location for the theme park, exactly as expected.nnDidn’t try the breakfast, but if you find yourself up too late for that me, or if you’re stuck for dinner ideas, there’s a Spoons very local.nnRoom 319, paid £3.50 extra to preselect it for the sea view - it’s fairly nice, but if you’re on the west side at all be aware you’ll get a small amount of light coming through from the LED screen on the water park building. Not too distracting after a bit just close your eyes but something to be aware of.nnLovely staff too from the couple of times I had a chat! Will definitely consider for when I return to Blackpool.
Serious Hygiene Breach – Found Dried Semen on the Duvet BiohazardnI booked this hotel and everything seemed fine at first. However, when I went to bed and pulled the duvet over me, I felt something hard against my knee. When I checked, I found that the duvet cover was stuck to the duvet with what was clearly dried semen. This was not a normal laundry stain — it was a high-risk biological contamination. The area was hardened and glued together, and anyone could verify this simply by touching it. It was obvious the bedding had not been changed and the entire duvet should have been removed and replaced immediately.nnI went to reception visibly upset but still speaking firmly and respectfully. Despite this, the duty manager reacted aggressively, threatened to remove me from the hotel, and even said he would call the police. I did not swear at him or insult him in any way; I simply expressed my shock and frustration at finding a bodily fluid on my bedding.nnThe manager continued insisting it was “just a stain,” blaming the laundry company, even though it was extremely easy to confirm it was not. A basic check with a finger would have shown the hardened, glued texture, not a mark from washing. Another staff member joined in, telling me I “shouldn’t be upset,” and also tried to dismiss it as nothing. Yet when I showed her the duvet, she refused to touch the area—clearly knowing from the start what it was.nnThis was a serious hygiene breach and a clear biohazard, made worse by the staff denying responsibility, refusing to properly check, and responding with hostility instead of professionalism. I left extremely disappointed and uncomfortable with how this situation was handled.
