Nice staff! Really pleasant accommodation att a tiny old building just a few paces from the cornmarket street. Fantastic breakfast. The room was very well equipped with nice furniture and a cozy toilet with an amazing bathtub. I stayed in the bastion suite a d there was a basket that magically spawned cereal bars and fruit and biscuits every time I got home. A real treat. The only bad thing was I found the bed uncomfortable. I like hard beds and felt that this bed was very soft, too soft.

Pretty moderate Inn-like accommodation facilities in the heart of Oxford University. In view of the overall quality and comfortableness at this premise, the price charged per night is a bit too dear. However, the breakfast is worthy of praise and it is covered in the hotel price. It is also a member of the charity/voluntary network, Oxford Hub, that supports Oxford University students to engage in the one-to-one coupling/engagement with the city's elderly. For this very reason, we chose to stay there.

Reasonable conveniently-central hotel with good access to Oxford amenities at an acceptable price. Rooms slightly small and floors excitingly "wonky": not for those afraid of stairs or prone to seasickness!

All you can ask for in an old style, original, hotel.

I love this place. No need to settle for high-end pleasure palaces or the questionable budget walkups (you know the ones), Tower House is the model of hospitality in Oxford. Johno is your most companionable host, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the included breakfast at Turl Street Kitchen around the corner is the icing on the flapjack. Beautiful location, wonderful hotel.
