Fab hotel, the bath is the best hotel bath I have ever used! Huge and relaxing! Staff are great - the only problem I had was that the security door into the house of corrections didn't seem to be working and you didn't need a key to enter, in the middle of a city this is not the safest thing... other than this it's a lovely hotel full of history and definitely a place to visit if you're in Oxford

Very nice hotel, Amazing room with super comfy bed. Hotel is part of the castle / prison and as such the design mixes the old with the new in a very contemporary design. Very close to town so access to lots of historical sites and attractions. Had high tea which was fantastic. Would certainly stay here again.

Great experience and very attentive staff. Car parking was limited, but the attendant took great care of my car. Rooms excellent and quiet despite the city centre location. Good breakfast and superb location.

Been here a few times now. Frequently good and they're always quick to put things right when not. Word of warning: ask for a move downstairs if they put you on the top floor of c wing as water pressure very low in shower and basin - and main heavy plant on or in roof is more audible than elsewhere.

Great place to stay very unusual, it's amazing how they 've kept the originality of the old prison but modernized it at the same time. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Will definitely be going back.
