We stayed at The Randolph Oxford for two nights. First of all, the hotel’s concept, atmosphere, and location are genuinely beautiful. The building has a lot of character, and the staff were also very attentive and helpful throughout our stay.nnHowever, for a hotel that cost around £880 for two nights, I do think some parts need to be updated. The lighting in the rooms was quite poor, and the minibars felt old and did not cool properly. Even though the rooms are designed with a classic concept, some details made them feel more outdated than charming.nnI was also disappointed with the late-night room service options. For this price level, having only toast, one or two other simple options, and a few pizzas felt quite limited.nnOverall, the location, atmosphere, and staff were very good, but considering the price, I expected the rooms and facilities to feel more modern and better maintained.nnMert Guney
Absoloutley, first class!nnThe room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I could have stayed in bed all day.nnThe staff were brilliant , professional and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and located in the beautiful Alice room.nnLocation, most things are in easy reach by a short walk.nnCannot recommend this hotel and its staff highly enough.nnWe will be returning.
Awesome authentic high class hotel ! A great experience. Rooms are big. Beds are really comfortable and bathrooms are spotless eith great water pressure. The convenience of pump shampoos, cond and wash make it easy so you don’t have to add to luggage. Great tea pot and coffee machines. I was very happy. My Viking trip coordinator was always available. Great job Viking on picking a great hotel for our post cruise experience! Oh and breakfast was delicious!
I have twice stayed at this property and have always enjoyed the charm, quietude, sensibility, and location of the hotel. My second stay in December 2025 was truly a delight, made memorable by the gracious hospitality of Telma and Kunal, both of whom assisted me with a unique room request. Telma’s enthusiasm and knowledge about the property made for great conversation and Kunal made certain I was in just the right room! I thank you both for your kind service. I enjoyed my stay immensely.
We stayed for 7 days and absolutely loved it. The staff went out of their way to help in any way. The bar downstairs was so welcoming and homely, we just loved sitting next to the fire while it was raining and cold, outside. Brilliant central location. Very comfortable rooms, and beautiful linen. Very attractive and well appointed bathrooms. Generally loved our stay! We would love to return.
