Tower Bridge

Story

G. Armstrong Mitchell».

Visiting Tower Bridge in London was an amazing experience. The iconic structure, with its stunning architecture and impressive engineering, offers breathtaking views of the Thames and the city. Walking across the glass floor was both thrilling and slightly nerve-wracking, but it gave a unique perspective of the boats passing underneath. The exhibition inside couldn’t be done because of crowded tourists in a very long queue, but I can imagine how desperate they wanted to experience the bridge's history and construction. Overall, it's a must-see landmark that perfectly blends historical charm with modern attractions. Visiting this place in the morning is recommended.

First time I've visited despite growing up in London. Found it really interesting and informative as well as good views and of course the option to walk over the glass floors was good. We found this to be good value for money, which is something that can't be said about many London attractions! Especially when you consider you get to visit the old engine rooms as well. This is well worth a visit.
Walking around Tower Bridge is always a fantastic experience! I walk across it every day for work, and its beauty never fails to impress me. The views of the Thames River and the London skyline are stunning, and strolling between Tower Bridge and London Bridge is a delightful way to appreciate the city's history and architecture. Highly recommend visiting, whether you're a tourist or a local.
What can we say about this historic place? Your visit begins by climbing the North Tower, move through East Walkway and West Walkway, as you cross the iconic Glass Floors. Head down to the South Tower to road level. Follow the Blue line which commemorates the workers of Tower Bridge. End your visit in the iconic Victorian Engine Rooms. Enjoy your visit!
An incredible museum that teaches and reaches all ages. Elevator available, kids stamp book/age appropriate info board to keep them engaged. Wonderful staff from ticketing to exit. Amazing views and picture opportunities. Wonderful facts and info throughout. Certainly worth a visit.
Easy stop and worthwhile place to visit. Well done with good information available, plus some great views. A few steps to walk up and down, thrilling glass floor on one side of bridge that if your not able to pass, it's not required to carry on. We were able to see it open for a ship to pass, extra bonus. An excellent experience to walk over Tower Bridge. The glass panels are a big attraction, so be prepared for people lying on top of them! The photography windows are great! Also really appreciated the Engine Rooms and the exhibition there. Was informative and educational. Loved how there's something for everyone, including younger children.
