Great service and delicious carvery! Really good selection of meat and vegetables and beautifully cooked. Very friendly and helpful staff and well-presented venue. Never disappoints!

Carvery also good value for money if you want a roast. Nice vegetable only version as well. Deserts good if you can manage it after seconds of vegetables. Beer is well priced.

Good food but not overly comfortable with the atmosphere or furnishing. I am gluten free and the staff on the servery did not appear to be very well informed regarding gluten allergies, after persisting they eventually checked a list they had behind the counter for allergy listings. Staff seemed to think a gluten allergy is the same as being vegan communication was not easy due to language barrier.

Pleasently surprised... we popped in for carvery and it was very good value for money... the man that looked after us was very friendly and happy, always a bonus , the meats all looked nicely cooked veggies were nice ...if I had to pick one thing it would be it could have been bit warmer but honestly that's nit picking. Last time I went there which was year or so ago the food wasn't good I was sat right outside men's loo door the waitress threw pudding over me with no apology so having need persuaded to try it again ....I'm glad I did, and will go back soon.

Should have been better. One staff member looked to only be booking people in whilst one waitress dealt with ALL the seated customers being run ragged, she did really well and managed to keep it together. Rather worryingly the chef on the carvery had NO CLUE about cross contamination. My wife asked for a plate for my vegetarian daughter explaining that she had ordered veggie sausages for her so he put meat sausages and a Yorkie on her plate. She said no, so he removed the sausages and tried to give her the plate with Yorkie on. She said but that's touched the sausages, so he removed the Yorkie and tried to give her the plate. At which point my wife got really angry as obviously the plate had come into contact with the meat as well. The waitress came over and tried to explain to the chef, he was foreign and didn't seem to understand any English. When my wife finally got a clean empty plate we then observed him popping back the Yorkie into the pile for the next unsuspecting vegetarian to come along. Really, really poor service and extreme lack of understanding or empathy from the chef. You get 3 stars due to the waitresses endeavours. Food was overcooked, no taste in the gravy. Pretty poor really so those stars go to the overworked waitress.
