Lovely French restaurant. We managed to eat prior to 7 pm so were able to take advantage of the fixed menu. Food was delicious with good sized portions. Waiter was very attentive. Restaurant was fairly busy but not crowded which made for a nice atmosphere.

Côte is in one of the oldest buildings in Newbury and has been converted with care. It is clean and light and the staff are very competent and friendly and well worth the 12.5% service charge. My grilled smoked Toulouse sausages with braised Puy lentils, carrots and dijonnaise was wonderful. Thank you chef, Rita.

Great value French food. I made it just in time for their early diner special, which ends at 7pm. Three courses for a very reasonable amount. I had the sea bass for the main course, the it was a thin fillet compared to what I am used to eating but great flavour. I'm avoiding carbs and so they swapped the high sugar deserts for a healthy one. It was a Monday evening so maybe 15 tables occupied and food was served quickly.

Had a delicious meal and the chef made sure they left mint out of everything as I'm allergic to it. Fabulous cooking.
