Foul and unpleasant employee behind the bar. Took 15 minutes to get served for a drink. The sign on the pool table said free pool on a Thursday after 5, when I asked he said bluntly no. When we pushed this matter he said they haven't done that in a long time, we said there was a sign but was uninterested, and dismissive. we gave back the sign in protest, he snatched it off me and screwed it in a ball and chucked in on the floor. Haven't experience this kind of service before. It was like he didn't even want us near him. Can't tell you enough not to go to this pub Truly awful

Sadly had unpleasant experience here, we were looking for somewhere for a family meal and popped in to cross keys after long drive to see if my daughter could use the bathroom. The barmaid was rude and unfriendly talking to me as if I was a naughty child she said that I was lucky that her boss hadn't caught us (we were just hoping to use the bathroom)as he was not as kind. Glad we didn't meet him then! We were given "permission" to use the bathroom but told next time we should have had a more polite manner. We didn't use the bathroom and got out of cross keys as quickly as possible feeling shocked and affronted by her rude, unfriendly manner. Unsurprisingly we decided not to have lunch there but went to Lebanese house which was welcoming, delicious and had a warm friendly atmosphere

The worst pub I've ever been to. Disgusting attitude from landlord. Extremely unwelcoming, unfriendly and rude. Do not bother. Gives British pubs a bad name
