Lovely place, so picturesque, followed a lovely stream, good for dogs must be kept in lead due to livestock
Unfortunately the footpath leading down Tideswell Dale is closed ATM 28/02/23 so it affected our planned walk. That's not to say it was any less enjoyable, just be aware before you visit this spring that it may still be closed, and plan an alternative route before you go.
Great parking - maximum costs are £4.50 for all day as of January 2020 Toilets are there too as well as an information board Plenty of walks in the area A couple of picnic tables are there too

Large pay and display car park with toilets. Good walks from here down Tideswelldale. There are easy paths and some sculptures for interest. Or you can walk all the way dow2and come back via Ravenstonedalr which is sn excellent walk bur much tougher.
Can only pay in cash with no change if you overpay! Free lay-by just 200m up the road.
Fabulous walks for all the family among wildlife and meadow flowers up close just remember to keep dogs on lead and close gates to keep farm animals safe good parking and toilet facilities would recommend for Sunday stroll

Welcoming site stopped for coffee on walk to Tideswell. Nice coffee sensible prices. Normally open weekends.
Terrific spot for a gentle walk. Head due south from the car park passed the public toilets for a beautiful stroll which ends in a loop allowing you to return back.
