A great town centre carpark, good size but gets very busy at weekends.  You can pay with coins or on the pay by phone app.nYou can get 30 minutes free which is really handy.

Free parking for the day because the machines weren't working and lots of service works going on  giving 4 stars for free parking other wise would have given 3 because the signage is poor

Parked my SUV then went to pay at the ticket machine. I found a space at the rear of the car park and it was easy for me to park and seemed a reasonable price and convient for visiting the local shops and surroundings.

Even though there is a designated motorcycle bay, a charge applies the same as for a car yet a bike takes up far less space. Throughout the UK, apart from central London, this council is the only one I’m aware of that charges motorcycles for parking in a bike space. Tickets are a challenge to display on a bike especially when they aren’t self-adhesive.

Excellent position for all the shops and Riverside walk there are public toilets
