Machines are cash only. No card payment option. Had to download an app and go through a tedious payment process. Most places just have a card machine/contactless card reader now, so why not here?

Even though there is a designated motorcycle bay, a charge applies the same as for a car yet a bike takes up far less space. Throughout the UK, apart from central London, this council is the only one I’m aware of that charges motorcycles for parking in a bike space. Tickets are a challenge to display on a bike especially when they aren’t self-adhesive.

If Derbyshire Council wants to charge motorbikes the same price as a car, park in any space you want. You are clearly paying for a space.nIf a large group of motorcyclists can turn up and fill the parking spaces individually, they may consider changing the rule.

Right in the middle of Bakewell. Reasonably priced considering it's location. Busy when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Some cars queuing for a space.

Good carpark, dislike the fact that you have to use an app or cash to pay for parking. Internet signal is dodgy, usually takes around 10mins to pay via the app, which is annoying, and I don't always have change to pay cash.
