Would give 0 stars if possible. Been registered here almost 1 year, impossible to get an appointment or even basic form of care here. RUDE AND INADEQUATE STAFF. Every month there is an issue with repeat prescriptions. A whole page on application forms dedicated to identifying carers, clearly this doesn’t mean anything as this was not uploaded to our record until query raised 6 months later. Despite many posters offering care and compassion at the surgery for dementia and Alzheimer’s this does not translate to most of the reception staff. I have had the phone put down on me mid phone call, receptionists bare face lying to cover their own wrongdoings. AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT THE EXTRA MENTAL STRESS!! COMPLETELY NEGLIGENT.
Would give zero if I had the chance. 1.30 on hold for an appointment. Not getting one as “you need to call at 8” but obviously at 8 no one will pick up and you will be stuck on a 30+ people queue. Get ready to try and call every morning for 2-4 weeks to only get a telephone “consultation”.This is poor management. Get another person if not 2 to deal with calls in the morning, all the time I have wasted to only try and get an appointment it’s ridiculous. Receptionists can’t be bother to be there whatsoever but they at the same time are getting paid to be there and therefore do their job properly. I have asked multiple times to speak to a manager and I always get told “yes you will get a call back”, never happens. I work in the healthcare world myself and I would never even imaging to ever treat patients the way they get treated here. Honestly it’s a shame, this is people’s life, not a restaurant.
I have never seen this level of incompetence from top to bottom at a surgery. You always have to go through 111 to get any sort of appointment and even when you do get a consultation with the doctor's it lasts for 2 minutes and you're given treatment unsuitable to you as they haven't even bothered checking your health record. I have no idea how they have not been closed down.
DISGUSTING SERVICE DISGUSTING ATTENTION When the people call the GP is because is sick NORMALLY.. Receptionits needs to learn EDUCATION AND EMPATHY. Today She PUT THE PHONE DOWN, WHEN I EXPLAIN TO HER I NEED TO TALK WITH THE DOCTOR BECAUSE JUST I GO OUT FROM A&E AND SHE DECIDED to do that AND NOTHING I CAN DO. IS YOU CAN DO THIS JOB FIND ANOTHER ONE. I AM TIRED YOU TREAT ME LIKE A ANIMAL IDIOT
Disgusting service by the reception Team no helpful at all they always treat patients like animals thinking they are doing us a favour by answering calls or answering to the queries. when they are getting paid to do their job clearly they dont have respect for NHS system
Would give 0 if I could. No appointments available. The same old same "call back tomorrow at 8am" then 8am no one answer and by 8.15am no appointment available. The receptionists don't care and always answer with sarcasm.
This service is rediculus over there ,they always mess up with my son repid perscription even when I have emailed them what he need many times,literally every month. And today I have called them at 8 o clock in the morning saying that my 2 year old is sick ,still they dont have any face to face apptoitments...after that some rude lady ,Lucy was really not nice and unprofesional on the phone ,instead of helping the people becouse thats supossed to be her job role ,I have explain that I was already 3 times in the hospital with him and I think is another chest infection,she was rude saying ,,or you taking telephone apotiment or I cancel that and you not bother!!" Anyway now waiting all day nearly 12 hours with sick child and still not any phone call.of them... they excuses is wait until 8 o.clock when most pharmacys are closed anyway! And you cant travel far away in the night when you have sick baby in home! Ridiculus service ,they not bother of anything over there apart of beeing rude to people!
I had really bad experience with this gp through past couple of years however it seems like they are improving now. New phone system is working well and I actually managed to get an appointment when needed. Keep up the good work and let's hope from now on it will be just getting better
The receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all, after waiting on phone for 40 mins, but received a call after filling in the online form from Nicky. She was an absolute star *****.
Worst surgery, no cctv when incidents accur, read back on notes the manager written, don't trust this surgery to protect you from abusive patients. Dont trust them full stop try and cover own backside. Inhouse treat to friends. Treatment is a no no for mental health, treat you like an idiot. Will be reporting to pals. Prorct yourself by wearing a camera or record on phone, as no cctv and they lie! Look at better drs surgery in the area. Don't recommend. Very rude and unprofessional receptionists and management wouldn't even want to give it a star.
