Christmas party, Location of the hotel was cheaper than getting a taxi too and fro Lovely staff dealt mainly with a young lady with glasses on the evening and breakfast, Room was a little dusty ?? Otherwise faultless. Value for money 10, Would I stay again definitely. Thank you.
Didn't stay, but went for a meal with friends. We opted for the lunchtime special, 2 courses for £11.95. 2 of us had soup and 2 had pate, both being absolutely beautiful. Then 2 went for fish and chips and 2 had curry. Again absolutely beautiful, well cooked, and nicely presented. Maybe the drinks were a little on the dear side, but not bad considering. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely revisit.

Excellent place. Kirsty at the bar was so kind and friendly. And helped cater for a meal for me and my girlfriend. The beers and range is great and is sold at such a competitive price. The outside views are great. Overlooking fields. The outdoor facilities are kept clean and bottles + glasses are removed on a very regular basis.
I love it here... Great breakfast, fabulous view from the outside dining deck. Sunday lunches are very good too. Def recommend a visit. One of these days, I'll book in for a stay too, just fer the hell of it!
Great 2 course Sunday lunch all tasted freshly cooked and the gravy was delicious and asked more more which wasnt an issue. The table we were first sat at was tucked up a corner and was little tight but we asked to be moved and as soon as another table became free they moved us.
Avoid joke this place and there staff. Avoid Avoid. Better hotels up the road.Rooms: 1/5
Avoid. Booked ahead for Mum's Birthday. Husband registered as coeliac. As we ordered food we repeated the coeliac alert. Suprise, we recieved a non coeliac starter !!!!!! Staff began to clear table as we ended first course before Mum had finished eating her meal and waitress attire was very untidy and unkempt. Broom Tavern is outstandingly fabulous, the Throckmorton is nowhere close. In short AVOID.
