Friendly landlord and pub staff. Are very diligent on process to help prevent Covid. Regularly show Premier League football with plenty of screens around the rooms. Nice lounge area. I haven't tried the food.

Great pub in centre of town serving excellent value well cooked meals

We had a wonderful meal at the Bear yesterday. We always take visitors there, we never been disappointed the food is always great ! Lots of room and lovely staff after dinner we met up with more family in the large garden Thank you to all the staff see you again soon x

Good beer, very good staff, comfortable warm atmosphere, made to feel welcome.

Had a very late lunch at the pub. Food was freshly cooked so piping hot with ample portions. Staff friendly and tables cleared quickly. I had the ham, egg and chips, hubby had scampi, which we both enjoyed.

We had already eaten but what was on the tables served to some customers it very tempting and tasty .We will go there next time we are in Alcester ..A very pleasant English town and location of a very famous film that was shot here .

Had a great evening with a friend here. Excellent value food, all freshly cooked. Fantastic sausage egg and chips followed by chocolate pudding and custard. Definitely going back again
