Thornley House Bed & Breakfast A B&B for lovers of fine cats and fine gardens.
This beautiful country house is surrounded by a large garden with its own tree lined drive, a field and woodland where pheasants nest and rabbits roam.
It is 1 mile out of Allendale village and 9 miles south of the historic market town of Hexham. It stands in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Allendale was nominated "Village of the Year" in 2007.
There are three bedrooms, all with TV, private facilities and tea makers.
Cat lovers will particularly enjoy the original paintings of felines by international artists, as well as other cat memorabilia and the five living members of the species.
Thornley House is open at Christmas and meals and snacks are available on request.
There is ample parking space.
