Fabulous for a special occasion. We booked a room with a double air bath for an anniversary, and returned for another celebration. Rooms enormous and excellent combination of period features with modern comforts. Multiple dining options on site, a lovely public drawing room with open wood fire. Some rooms even have limited disabled access via an assisted goods lift, just dial reception from the room and they'll take you up and down. Attentive without being pushy, staff have a genuine enthusiasm for the place.

We had a fantastic stay at this awesome castle - the rooms are spacious and very well appointed with nice toiletries and modern bathrooms. Very comfortable with seating area and good sized bed. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Very dog friendly, and they went out of their way for us to make our stay special. Gorgeous grounds with peacocks and bunnies and such an impressive structure too. Food was tasty and plentiful. This is worth the cost - terrific value for money.

Very lavish hotel, beautiful room. Scenery is amazing, room that we stayed in had a very large bath with a bubble machine. Very pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Lovely fully cooked breakfast. Rooms have tea and coffee, TV, water bottle included.

Absolutely beautiful building and amazing staff. I've literally never received customer service as good as I have at this place. The way they look after you is unreal. I've been on tow occasions now and we will definitely go back again.

I am a wedding hairdresser and was there for the 1st time to do the bridal party's hair. What a beautiful castle. The room was truly lovely. Excellent venue to have a wedding , very intimate settings
