Based in Allenheads, our beautifully refurbished Victorian School House has accommodation and facilities that are perfect for holidays and B&B.

Story

Open for both self-catered and B&B accommodation, the Old Scool House can be booked for:
- Holiday makers
- Cyclists passing through on the C2C route
- Artists in residence

The West Wing can accommodate up to 12 and facilities include:
- Large open-plan area with well equipped kitchen
- Integrated dishwater
- Fridge-freezer
- Built in oven and touch controlled ceramic hob
- Sturdy, solid oak extending dining table
- Coal & log burning stove

There are four bedrooms:
- 2 bedrooms with the option for double or twin beds in each
- 2 bunk rooms, each with 4 beds
- Total beds 12

There is also central heating throughout the wing, with additional portable oil filled radiators in bedrooms if required.

Other facilities and utilities:
- Clothes washing machine and tumble dryer
- Large classroom (8 x 8 metres) available for meetings, conferences, workshops, performances and/or exhibitions etc.

Artist’s Flat
The Artist’s flat is available for individual artists to both live and work in, and includes:

- Private accommodation with single loft bed
- Small private room for desk based work
- Built in oven and hob
- Fridge/freezer
- Adjoining utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer
- Central heating plus additional portable radiators if required


Additional facilities:

- Adjoining studio (8x8m) available for meetings, conferences, workshops, performances and/or exhibitions etc.
