The Golden Lion Hotel Allendale is a Traditional Free/Brewhouse, Boutique Country Hotel, Restaurant and Saloon Bar specialising in a range of our own unique craft ales brewed on the premises in the cellar, with a comprehensive selection of fine wines, beers, premium larger and traditional cask ales sourced from breweries near and far to include fine local ales from The Allendale Brewery. We also serve a range of delicious teas and coffee's.
Bar meals food service hours: Summer (commencing Easter) 12-3pm & 6-9pm 7 days a week, Winter - 12-2:30pm (Wed-Mon) & 6-8pm (Wed-Mon) Closed
From catching up with mates to having a formal function or having a quiet coffee with your friends, The Golden Lion caters for all, with a vibrant bar serving bar meals and '1839' restaurant on the first floor for more intimate dining.
