Love this place. Been going for years as a child and now I lovetaking my own son. We like feeding the ducks then wandering around the rose gardens and jumping in some puddles. The play area is great too.

We spend alot of time at Thornes park as both our daughters do gymnastics and I attend park run. Although generally the park is a lovely place to go the amount of parking is not adequate at all!! Something needs to be done about this! Why is the college car park not open on a Saturday??

A nice pleasant park to walk around, with plenty of ducks and swanns to feed bread to and also an Avery with a selection of different birds that are out all year round. There are a few hills but all depends which part of the park you are in as it's very large. The park has a kids play area which seems quite popular also come bonfire night there is a decent display put on for free

Lovely well maintained park, only public toilets are in the sports stadium which are only available during stadium opening hours.

This park has a play area for kids of all ages, a large play field, a miniature railway in the summer that you can ride on for 50p each. Toilet facilities are located next to the sports stadium entrance. Free parking is available, though the area is often full. There is also a popular skate park.
