This is the first time I have visited White Post. I was treated with respect and the staff were welcoming. I book a table and asked for space for my pushchair and my wishes were listen to and we were seated somewhere with space. Our food came out in a great timely manner and the food was delicious. My 2 fussy children even loved the food and ate it all. The prices were good too and we had a offer that we used. I shall definitely be coming again!!
We were a large party gathering for our Granddaughter's 13 birthday. We were looked after perfectly by Tom who couldn't do enough for us. Some of us had the carvery, some ordered food from the menu which must have been a bit complicated for any waiter but the menu orders were timed perfectly with those eating from the carvery. Food was good, hot and very good value for money. We asked if we good bring a birthday cake of our own, not a problem and the staff even brought this to our table at the end of the meal, all candles blazing. What a lovely time we all had, cannot fault the service and will certainly return. Well done The White Post and thank you.
Food average Had to chase up order as half an hour after ordering no sign of food. Answer every time we asked was 'its just being plated up' Waitresses are definitely not hospitality trained Dog friendly as long as you stay in your seat, use the correct door and your dog doesn't make a peep. Nice to have a meal with family but next time we'll definitely be eating elsewhere
Good experience! The place was clean and the decor is quite welcoming. We were greeted warmly by the man at the bar, and we settled in to watch the football and get some food. It was quiet as it was the afternoon but it was a nice vibe. Our food was really tasty, a fair price and came hot! Standard pub grub - I had the cauliflower curry and could have had more cauliflower but the portion size was generous and everything rice, naan etc seemed hot and fresh. Overall a nice experience.
Such a lovely pub and really helpful staff. Lovely food and wasn’t waiting ages for it although not a lot to choose from, didn’t stop us from having a wonderful evening out. Everywhere was clean and tidy would highly recommend. Thank you very much
The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were really friendly. We did have to wait around 45 minutes for our meals to arrive at our table. The bar man said it was because of a new menu - no problem. When we had finished our meals we were offered complimentary desserts as an apology which was really lovely and a nice surprise. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area. Thanks!
I’m a mental health support worker and i took a group of our service users to the farm opposite and then here for a meal after. The service was so amazing- One waiter took a lovely picture of us and was so accommodating and friendly to all of us. Food was delicious and affordable. Thank you for making them smile :
Restaurant looked neglected, disabled toilet there was a broken lock and also neglected. The young man who served us was pleasant and helpful. The simple meal took ages to prepare and wasn't anything sparkling on eating. You have certainly a big hill to climb to improve your image. Regards, Janet
The place is lovely however waited over 1 for burger and chips, a ribs and chicken sharer kids mash and fish fingers. On bank holiday Friday not wise for just one server and one bar staff and one manager who just hides after not even welcoming you.
We ordered our tickets online which was a quick and easy process. Upon arrival at White Post Farm, we were greeted by a very friendly lady in the gift shop, who scanned in our tickets and gave us our wristbands. Our experience at the farm was wonderful as always, and we especially loved seeing the Piglets! The outdoor trail was really fun, as it allowed us to interact with all the animals. We were able to walk through the Wallaby enclosure, and this was great! Overall, we had an amazing time and can’t wait to return!
