Thank you to Mark and Martin Kings Marina, who were welcoming and helpful on our two day visit from our home base at Sawley. Kings Marina is friendly have great amenities and a short walk from Newark centre. We had a fantastic weekend and will be back.
Fantastic marina, safe and secure with friendly service, Paula is a star! Suited for all boats whether cruisers, narrow and wide. Everything you need but doesn't have a chandlery. Definitely worth mooring here 5mins to town and food shops just across the bridge. With glass land and park to walk the dogs.
This is a great little Marina with very helpful and friendly staff. Mark the manager and his support Martin go above and beyond to ensure all is well with your arrival, stay and departure. They could not have been more helpful. Thank you and looking forward to catching up once more next year.
Paula is one of the most welcoming managers of a marina we have ever met. Kind, thoughtful and very helpful. The facilities here are really clean and well looked after and the residents we met also very friendly. Would recommend for a visit or for longer. Thanks Paula you are a gem!
Lovely little marina - clean, safe, good facilities, friendly staff. Has diesel, gas, pumpout, all the usual and reasonable at £11.50 a might June 2021. Ideal location to go exploring Newark, the photo is if the Town Lock and Castle.
Very professional, helpful and efficient. I entered Marina onto services pontoon, very straight forward. Was assisted before and after arrival very politely and effectively. Staying on a short term mooring basis and very pleased with good all round facilities. I would have no hesitation in recommending Kings Waterside to other Boaters.
A very warm welcome from Mark who did everything he could to settle us in. Home from home. Everybody really friendly. A great place to break your journey on the Trent. Facilities were perfect although my height stopped me from seeing if I'd left anything in the dryer lol. Would definitely stop here again.
We got to Newark after navigating the Tidal Trent on a late-ish tide and couldn't find a mooring on the Dyke. We decided to chance our luck in the Kings Marina for the night. We were met by Mark Baker, the manager who couldn't have been more helpful. We got loads of information and answers to all our questions despite it being the end of his working day. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a remarkably good diesel price and a modest overnight mooring fee £12. Overall, very impressed. We even got waved off, although we suspected he was glad to see us go;.
Nice marina secure. Very central to Newark centre.
Stayed for two nights on a visitor mooring Easter 2022. Peaceful, secure mooring on the end of a pontoon. Great location near town and the train station. Mark, the marina manager, was friendly, helpful and professional from our initial contact when booking by phone through to meeting us in person at the jetty on our arrival.
