A family friendly country pub set off the main Congresbury road.
Now open all day every day.
Home cooked and freshly prepared food served Monday - Saturday 12pm-9.30pm.
Gluten free and Vegetariain options also available.
Carvery served every Sunday 12-6pm.
Dogs are welcome.
We have roaring real log fires in the winter and a huge beer garden for long
summer evenings.

Very nice venue for lunchtime meal could do with more staff as they are a very busy place and due to its size cue for carvery was very long which blocked access to the bar. Meal was lovely.

Four of us visited this pub for the first time on 13th October for an evening meal and we were all delighted with our choice of meal. They offer an excellent menu and at a reasonable price. They have a Carvery every Sunday and all day Wednesday and offer two steaks for £20.00 on a Friday night. Will definitely be visiting again. They are also open on Christmas day which is disappointing as we have already booked at another pub.

We were the only people eating food, which historically means the food isn't as good, but honestly it was really good food. The pub was really quiet (probably due to the snowy/icy weather) and although we tried to walk to it (advise against) it was worth the effort to get there.

Always have the best time here, the carvery is top quality... The meat is always perfectly cooked and they always go the extra mile with the veg... Creamy garlicky green beans are a personal favourite! Amazing value for money, but make sure you book up as they are normally fully booked!! Keep up the good work guys!

Our visit on 23/12/17 was very disappointing . Our order took just under 50 minutes to reach our table. My son’s Duck was tough, my wife’s Lamb Tagine, had large cubes of lamb- which were very “chewy” and over cooked. My chicken in a white sauce was “average” at best ! I last went to this pub about 7 years ago, and my visit was equally disappointing. Given that the Restaurant was only half full, with a relatively uncomplicated and small menu, I could find no reason for our poor experience!
