The Moon and Sixpence is one of the most popular pubs in Clevedon. Situated in a prime seafront position looking out over the Bristol Channel and facing Clevedon's famous Victorian Pier. Spectacular sunsets can be witnessed from our pub balcony offering some of the best views in Clevedon or from our outside eating and drinking areas. The Moon & Sixpence is a welcoming, popular bar, restaurant and hotel offers a range of accommodation and entertainment as well as great pub food in comfortable surroundings. We specialise in traditional English and Mediterranean cuisine prepared by our chefs. See an example of the daily specials that we serve here.

Why not make a weekend of it and stay overnight in one of the Moon and Sixpence en-suite hotel rooms? Then relax on Sunday morning in the comfortable restaurant bar, before tucking into the perfect Sunday Roast. At The Moon and Sixpence we have disabled access to both the pub and our hotel, we also have a private car park for patrons to use. The Moon and Sixpence is available for weddings and private functions up to 60 persons.

Popped in for a couple of pints on Wednesday 18th Feb with a mate. Place is now under new management which is a blessing! The new guy that has taken it over is great. Really personable and friendly. Guinness was very good. Poured properly which is a rarity in most pubs. Great view over looking the Pier and channel. Didn’t have any food but what was coming out of the kitchen looked good. Definitely will be coming back.
Lovely warm welcome when we arrived. The rooms are set just behind the pub,there is no internal connection so you have to walk round the outside to them.The stairs to the upstairs rooms are a bit steep,which wasn't an issue for us but if you have mobility issues ask for a downstairs room. The room was spotless,really comfy bed and pillows. Just the right temperature. Had a lovely home feeling rather than a hotel room. Breakfast has to be one of the best I've ever had. Very tasty,well presented and plenty of it. The Moon and Sixpence is set directly opposite the beach and pier with a lovely walk along the seafront.Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Well, I've been fortunate up until The Moon and Sixpence ... But ... That was where my fortune took a massive nose dive !!!nWe, my wife, sister and brother in law went there for some food before setting off home after a lovely few days away.nI would love to say that it was the perfect end to our time together.nI would love to, but, I can't !!nThe place had absolutely no atmosphere, it was cold ...nBut the food was absolutely appalling !!nHow they could have the face to serve some of it amazed me .nIt was way over priced, took an age to come to the table, and, my wife's food was totally cremated !!nWhen she , having been able to eat hardly anything, said when asked that it was vile, she was told ... No, not sorry, but.. oh, right, I'll pass that onto the chef !!nI could say so much more, but I hope you're getting the picture.nPlease, think twice before ever trying the bubble and squeak ... !!
We've only stopped for unplanned lunch. The pub looks a bit tired, but in a charming kind of way but the people were lovely and the food was great. Burger was truly homemade and beautifully cooked as was the chicken souvlaki.nnGreat location near the pier and will gladly stop again if I'm the area
Under new management. Place looks very clean and tidy. Great service and amazing food. Think I found myself my new local.
