Our first proper family Christmas Day dinner as a 3 couldn’t have been lovelier thanks to Steph and her team. Delicious food served promptly, wonderful service, even a Christmas card for us all and picture book for our little boy! A beautiful view of the seafront just topped it off perfectly. Thank you so very much for making our Christmas so special and stress free!
Awarding winning ham, egg, peas, pineapple, and chips. The meal was by far the worst I have ever had, easily wining the worst meal award. The meal must have been left under the warmer for an age, and cooked by someone who, at that moment, did not care about their standards.nThe ham, was a chunk of rubbery, dry meat that really was totally void of flavour or moisture.nIf you want to put a child off vegetables for life, then this portion of peas would certainly have achieved that. They were dry, hard, without taste, more like green marbles than sweet succulent garden peas.nThe white regtangular strip that I believe was meant to be pineapple, was as appertise as it looked. This substance was hard to cut, with the cutlery provided. At one point, when I was baring down to cut a portion, this strip moved, pushing some peas off the plate.nThe egg was clearly over cooked. The edges burnt, the yolk hard, while the white had a silicon like texture.nThe chips - the only part that of the whole meal that could be said to be really edible. I managed to get my 15 month old granddaughter to eat a few.nShe was the reason I did not make a fuss. I knew, as did my wife, that if I started to voice an oppinion, I would have not been able to have stop, causeing everyone embarisment. It was that bad. My wife paid, while I looked after my granddaughter.nAdvice - Stay away from this establishment till the chief can cook an egg, has had councilling and the serving staff are confident it recognising a poor plate.nCan it be this bad all the time?nNo, or The Little Harp would be out of business.nThe vast majority of my reviews are possitive. So I am looking forwad to giving a positive, thank you, next time we go out.nI look forward to The Little Harp's reply.
One of my favourite places for lunch on the coast. Gorgeous view out of the bay, cosy, warm and fantastic staff with one of the best value roasts. I go to the little harp every time I am in clevedon and have never had a bad time. Classic pub
Visited the Little Harp in Clevedon for the first time today with my wife at the start of her 60th birthday week. Prior to my Dad passing, Mum and Dad were regulars so I booked a table in the dining room for 1 pm. The pub was easy to find and had decent car parking. We were seated at an amazing table in the dining room overlooking the sea front. A great atmosphere and very busy. Food was excellent and our server, Hayley, couldn't do enough for us. Pricing was very good given the quality of food, service and location. Very pleased and will be back in the near future. Many thanks to the team at the Little Harp, Clevedon.
Came here for evening meal as a family of 4. Stood waiting to be seated we had booked a table for 5 minutes without even being acknowledged by the passing staff. Food was good, only issue being that I am sure my daughters pizza was a Chicago Town microwave one. We were planning to have desserts but we were left waiting to have our plates cleared away and after that the waiting staff didn't come back to our table so we just sat waiting until we gave up, paid at the bar and left.
