I stayed here several nights whilst my mum was in Princess Alice hospice (which is easy to get to via bus or walking). 
 The landlord, lady (and rest of staff) were really nice and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean, functional and very good value for money in this area.  Food (evening meal included in room rate whilst I was there) was also really good.

Great place,but maybe to many steps for wheelchair user,like me although,t here is always a way round that.

Good local pub/hotel. Friendly staff and locals too. Always felt welcome since moving here this summer.

Jolly landlord with a ready smile. Friendly intelligent locals. Barman can talk on mobile and serve drinks at the same time.
