Don't expect to get any decent sleep if you're staying in any of the rooms above /next to the the pub. Noise isolation is absolutely terrible. Can completely hear all music, conversations etc as if it were inside your room. I have stayed in many different travelodge sites in the past, never had any issues. This one is by far the worst one ever.

Lovely location. Lovely people. Utterly lovely walks along the river in either direction, at least in daytime (cant speak for night/after-dark as remember many secluded sections in the direction we took). Lots of space outside + tables to sit. Visitors at end of summer and loads of spaces :). However... People would walk in front of our room window. One guy with a can of booze wandered back and forth. We reported to hotel thinking he was a chancer, but turned out to be in the adjacent room just going for a stroll... So be ready for that! Also... We couldn't get into the cupboard or drawers to put our stuff, because the handles were missing.

Its much improved this time. Wifi still not up to standard, extremely slow. Ashley Park Pub next door which serves very good food. Friendly and helpful Staff.

Nice from the outside. Our family room wasn't available on arrival so we were given two twin rooms on separate floors. Not ideal but they did issue a refund. Travelodge have spent lots of money rebranding but maybe they should use it to redecorate. The hall ways reminded me of Pontins. Staff were very helpful and the best part was it was connected to the pub which did a great breakfast.

Very friendly receptionist 'Taimoor' was very pleasant, helpful and made our stay a very happy one. Lovely lovely man
