Fairly standard Sunday roast.  Not much chicken.  Just breast. Would've liked a drumstick or wing or evidence it was roasted. Veg was not fresh. Beer and atmosphere was great 
Pudding was good. 
Nice stop over after a walk.  Probably better in the summer.

Great river view. Plenty of outside seating. Could do with a bit of refurbishment/ upgrade but is still a very pleasant pub to visit. Especially on a nice Summer evening.

Often stop here for a drink while walking along the Thames path. It's a beautiful spot but there's a lot that could be done to make the bar area nicer. It feels very tired whereas it could be spectacular.

We moored our houseboat up on the Thames moorings owned by the Environment Agency on the river in front of the pub and spent money there on food and drinks in the evening. The next morning we heard the manager knocking on our houseboat and told us he was potentially going to call the police if we didn't move even though the mooring does not belong to them but to the Environmental Agency. He said he's called the police on other houseboats before. Due to strong streams we stayed a bit longer at the moorings but this was confirmed as ok by the EA over the phone for safety reasons. Very rude...would not advise visiting. Treats customers and public badly. Shame because the bar staff are nice.

Food was nice, staff were friendly if a little lacking in customer facing etiquette at times regarding service. Nice place to go and dog friendly
