Ordered pizza to collect, was ready pomptly and enjoyed. The quality was good for the price which was very affordable. The bar looked well equipped and good price for cocktails but didn't try this time. Will definitely go back to try more : Vegetarian options: Options for vegetarian pizza and menu can be adjusted if you ask.
Went for boozy brunch for my birthday at the end of March. Absolutely fantastic. Food was great the 90 min drinks deal is definitely the best we've all been to. Well worth the money, staff were great and it's a lovely venue. Thanks for making my birthday great. We'll be back again without doubt
Went in on a Saturday afternoon about 130pm. Ordered a pizza and a couple of drinks. Pizza was outstanding and variety of beer was good. Friendly landlord as well. Would definitely visit again.
Just had delicious pizzas at Woodys. There were loads of choice and the two we had were lovely. To top it all, all pizzas were half price Weds and Thurs. A really economic and tasty mid week option. It was £10 a head which included alcoholic drinks
Called for late Sunday lunch. It was fairly quiet due to the time with a few tables occupied, it got busier as we arte Friendly staff took our orde and a good Sunday lunch was delivered fairly quickly - beef yorkshire pud, roast potatoes, carrots and sides orders of cauliflower cheese, mash an leaks plus plenty of gravy We sat close to a roaring open fire so there was a lovely smell of wood smoke Overall a good experience
Really nice freshly made wood-fired pizza with a range of meat, veggie, and vegan options to choose from. My pizza, was flavoursome and crispy and I washed it down with a pint of Aspalls cider. Pizzas were served on wooden boards with pizza cutters so you can choose your slice size yourself. I'm a hearty chap and the pizza size was perfect for me, my wife struggled a bit with the last couple of slices of hers. Two pizzas and two pints came to just under 30 quid and for that money I'd happily go back.
It was just brilliant. 6 stars. It's a lovely place I could get comfortable in. The staff were friendly, the food was quick and the pizzas were delicious. I had a great time, thank-you for having me. Vegetarian options: Half our table were vegan, and there were a lot of options.
Pleasant atmosphere good service beer ok food choice not very good although the food was reasonable
Lovely still bar/restaurant with reasonable prices. Especially the mid week evening menu. Portion sizes are on the larger side even off the early bird menu. Gets a little chilly so take a jaket/cardie. Good selection of spirits especially gin.
Booked a table for brunch and was not disappointed, service was speedy, the food was lovely and the whole atmosphere was very relaxing. Will definitely be going back again.
