In my opinion, the best takeaway Indian cuisine in glossop. Friendly staff and reasonably proce delicious food. We don't get takeout Indian food from anywhere else in Glossop.

First time we've tried Raj Gourmet & we are very disappointed. Ordered 2 passanda curries but full of dessicated coconut more like a korma. Poor quality chicken too. Will not be going there again. Will stick to Spice Bistro or Taj Baltic for delivery.
I have always used Tandoori king, but as I now need to find a new takeaway, thought I would try Raj Gourmet, poppadoms, onions,mango chutney followed by Chicken Biryani. It wasn't inedible, just lacking in flavour. Back to the drawing board
Have been using Raj Gourmet since the early 2000's and still find good, quality food and value for money. Staff have always been friendly and helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending this take away. My favourite dishes - tandoori chicken, saag bhaji, tarka dhal, chicken tikka masala, and more. Only downside is that there is no delivery service, you have to collect.
First time eating here the food was amazing and full of flavour definitely recommend
Discussed what I wanted with staff, asked for recommendations and was not disappointed. Chicken tikka Dilkhus made fairly hot rather than mild was superb; okra was huge and flavourful. Accompanied with garlic naan for £10.80 was superb value.
A very good Indian take away. Always very tasty. I have been a customer for over 25 years since it opened in 1993.
Curry was very bland, chicken was watery and the chips were soggy. Portions small and the chutney was in tiny pots - not enough for one person having 2 popadoms!
