Story

At Harvey Leonards, we feel good quality wine and beer should be enjoyed by everyone, which is how the concept of the tasting shop was born. This allows people to taste and buy the highest quality produce from independent breweries and exclusive family run vine yards from around world.

Harvey Leonards believe that choosing the right drink should not be rushed. We have developed an atmosphere for our customers to relax in, to take time and to sample products before they purchase. We have created an area for friends to meet and enjoy the experience, as well as offering the chance to meet and talk to some of the brewers and wine makers – who - like us, want to spread the word about good quality, affordable drinks!

Fantastic bar and bottle shop, with wide range of craft beers and wines to buy, drink in or takeaway. Has wine dispensing machines for impromptu wine tastings. Bar serves keg beers, spirits and wines. Cheese and charcuterie boards available to accompany your drink. Huge space with several distinct seating areas.

Friendly cost atmosphere , great pizza and pork pies. Great beer , wine and cocktail menu... Absolute gave place to go..

A popular and nice place for a drink and a nibble. The staff could be more welcoming, but there's a good comfortable atmosphere, although it can get a wee bit noisy at times when busy - it's only chatty noise, but it won't be for you if you want some quiet time. Look out for music events too!

Seemed to have a good atmosphere, has a bit more upmarket clientele. Not the sort of place I would normally go.  Would probably go again. Good selection of beers and wines, also does cocktails.

Well, where do I start. It’s great here. Great but… Just a few negatives. Or development points  - Only 1 free pint. Pitiful. - my drinking partner made me hurry my drink. I’ll drink when I’m ready. - not enough staff smelled of disinfectant - the noise was too ambient - it wasn’t overpriced enough - the mistletoe was too high - too many urinal cakes - the lady with grey beard behind the bar had a ‘ghost of Christmas past’ vibe  Other than that a really pleasant experience. The right amount of gas and stemmed beer glasses too. 6 out of 5 for me.

A popular, friendly, comfortable, venue with a great range of beers, wines and spirits, some tasty platters, and live music every second Sunday in the month, from 2.00pm to 6.30pm. Give it a try, you'll like it!

Always great service, staff are brilliant and atmosphere is always right. Great selection of drinks including cocktails. Pizza's are recommended.

Great atmosphere, fantastic old building friendly and knowledge staff. Best bar in Glossop in my opinion.

Excellent and large selection of beer and wine from all over the world, if you can think of it, they probably have it. Good food too. Staff super knowledgeable! Recommended!
