We called in for a quick drink with the kids on the way back from Blakeney. Service at the bar was jovial and chatty, beer was good and when the sun is out this is a lovely place to spend an hour or two. Inside the hotel there are a number of different spaces to sit, a snug through to a more formal dining area as well as an outside terrace. Have been coming here for 30 years and will be back again.

Visited recently while on holiday after a walk among the beach from Wells. Beautiful pub in a fantastic setting. We fully enjoyed the food we had and enjoyed our time there, but the service wasn't exactly with a smile and some of the food on offer is cynically overpriced to cash in on the tourist clientele. Have been plenty of times before and will visit plenty more no doubt, but eating will very much be a treat not taken often

The Victoria is fast becoming one of my favourite places in Norfolk. I was born in Hull. We don't have places like the Victoria in Hull. In Norfolk, however, there are lots of places like the Victoria, but none of them are quite as good as the Victoria. The menu is delicately worded, sparsely populated (as any good menu should be) and full of treats. Had a ploughman's lunch, with a gently warmed pork pie. Christ. Had a haddock fillet sandwhich; that was delicious too. Staff are professional and warm. Setting is gorgeous. Thoroughly recommend this place.

More a hotel than a pub. Good beer. Definitely needs more staff helping behind the bar. It was not especially busy but there was only one person (struggling) to serve everyone. He did his best but spent most of his time apologising for the delay.

The star is for the pleasant dog free room in an annex. Although we knew that the pub was dog friendly we were not told that dogs are allowed in the dining room, on the soft furnishings in all the lounges and bars. There is no room service so you have to eat with the dogs or not at all. Staff stroked dogs while serving diners. The dinner menu was unimaginative and the food was expensive. The breakfast bacon was half raw and inedible. The unasked for early morning alarm went off twice but there are no hotel staff to contact before 7am so we had to put up with it. The place feels dirty to me.
