Rude woman who came out from the kitchens basically she couldn't be bothered and even sighed when I asked her a question about something on the menu..made us feel very unwelcome .... we left and went down the road ....

Came here last year, same conclusion really. 1/ Cheaper than the other rip off pubs in Wells. 2/ Good atmosphere. 3/ Bar staff tend to serve locals first, leaving you standing at the bar feeling like a holiday maker. 4/ Wont go there again, I'll pay £2 a round more for better, and guicker service. #shotyourselfinthefoot

Good value for money, good British food, always served fresh and hot. We return every year on holiday and it always excels. Been three times this holiday!
