At day it provides a pirate style sea side ho feel, yet at night it is romantic with fairy lights. The food is freshly made at the tavern style yum indoor downstairs section of the boat, with a small selection of drinks and savoury or sweet foods. Mainly pancakes - haha! The bar is inside the hull of an old duchy ship. They’ve retained all the traditional features of a working ship and it’s a pretty special setting. I’ve taken a star off because the selection of beers is pretty basic and bottle only, which seems out of keeping with the specialist ales they serve straight from a cask. Despite this, I would definitely go back as the place is so lovely and provides a unique, charming, warm experience on a chilly night.

Friendly staff always,go out of their way to make you feel welcome .....Ton the owner is a nice chap and makes a wicked dutch pancake .I recommend this place to people who come to wells for the day and want a good place to eat ....also does b,+ b on board .....Great place for live music ...regual local bands play on board keep a eye the.notice board for who is playing ....a great night had by all .

Had great couple of days in Wells, the highlight was the great staff and mussels we had on the Albatros clipper boat! Friday we had some very talented musicians in the bowels of the boat. Great atmosphere, great food, great setup and must visit if in the area!! Paul & H.

Smelt really bad. Didn't seem happy with us only having a drink, but I didn't want to breathe let alone eat. A place for smelly hippies. Bless em
