Really good food, staff were friendly quick and efficient. The shop front and service areas was very clean. The chips were well cooked the small meals with a drink is a good option and makes it easier for ordering.

Would recommend this chips shop and visit again if in the area.

Excellent fish and chips. 

Gets busy at lunchtimes, we queued before the opening at 11:45. Worth the wait though.

Could do with more seating but constrained by the size of the premises.

I only come here when I'm working away from home.  I've tried it on three separate occasions as it has always come highly recommended, however it's one of the worst fish and chips I've had everytime. The queues are ridiculous and the fish always greasy. I've decided I won't give this place another chance. For me it's been three times too many

Still THE best fish and chip shop in the town and for some considerable distance too.
It's recently had a refurb with a stylish new interior. Not the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for. In this case, first-rate fish and chips!

Stunning fish and chips. A great local spot. Unpretentious, great service, generous portions. A Wells-Next-The-Sea must-visit. Expect a classic fish and chips menu. We had the haddock and cod with mushy peas. Big enough to take a family but be warned, gets very busy around 1pm.
