Friendly staff, great food and even better value for money. Popped into Bang with my two sons to brunch. Hadn't realised it was best to book. But, that was no problem as the staff managed to find us a reserved table that wasn't in use for 90 minutes. Our menus were handed over to us and we decided on what we wanted to eat and drink. 2 lots of buttermilk pancakes with dry cured bacon and maple syrup plus a full English breakfast using local produce.To drink we had a latte, mocha and a bottle of water. The food arrived after around 15 minutes and it looked amazing! There were at least 5 buttermilk pancakes each stack. They were beautifully light and fluffy and the bacon was well cooked. The full English came with sausage, tomato, mushrooms, bacon, eggs how you like them, baked beans and granary toast + butter. I think we all agreed that the food was really good and would definitely come here again when we're next in Wells-next-to-the-Sea. Total amount for our food and drink was just over £37 which is pretty darn good to be honest. I would certainly recommend coming here for food and advise to book ahead.
We discovered Bang on a rainy camping day, and thank goodness! We just made it there in time for the breakfast menu, which is late compared to most - 11:30. I had a top notch full English and an absolutely delicious cup of English breakfast tea, my family had huge stacks of pancakes with homemade toppings. Not the cheapest, but well worth a visit for a breakfast treat
Had lunch here a few weeks ago food good, can't say the same about the staff! They done the minimum of customer service, very little eye contact no checking if food was OK, no offer of more drinks or desserts or coffee. Not even a goodbye when we left, needless to say no tip either!
Great place. Good food and very friendly service. We wanted a light lunch and enjoyed a fish finger sandwich, 6 fish fingers, on fresh granary bread with a little side salad. Lovely cup of builders tea. Cosy atmosphere with the log burner fired up.Food: 5/5
Fantastic experience eating at Bang. Intolerances and allergies were carefully and reassuringly considered, and staff were friendly and welcoming. A dog friendly establishment that was very clean and well kept, with funky decor. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Dietary restrictions: Approachable and friendly, and keen to get it right.
We had the fresh soup and was amazing, leek & butter bean topped with Krispy kale and bacon. Delicious. The log burner kept us warm, nice atmospheric music and a decaf coffee with oat milk was the best we've had for a long time. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from street.
My partner and I were very fortunate to have had a 2 night stay with bang in wells whilst in town to work for a wedding. The welcome team was great, the service was awesome and the room was extremely cosy! Dinner & Breakfast was 10/10! Do yourself a favour, stay here if you’re in the area
Food tasted great, unfortunately I feel it was extremely over priced for what we were presented with. £9 for one slice of cheese on toast as a “main” lunch option for my husband whilst I had a giant chicken and bacon club sandwich with 3 slices of bread lots of fillings for just £2 more? Even a hot fish finger sandwich was the same price as one slice of cheese on toast! I feel the menu should be clearly outlined with what you are paying for as this should be under light bites not main meals.

I am sorry to say this place seems to want to tuck the disabled away in a corner, totally the opposite of what a disabled person needs. Paella was overspiced as others have said and we were not asked if we wanted anything more to drink or any coffee, again as others have mentioned.
