Love this pub, lovely landlords Alan and Paula fantastic entertainment especially Sundays on a hot day in the beer garden karaoke with natalie barmaid Sharon service with a smile always live entertainment at weekends and sometimes through the week. Shocking!! I came in to ask if my heavily pregnant friend could use the toilet, and the lady working sad no! If she had said yes we would of stayed and had a drink before going on our way. We ended up going to the lake house just a bit further up the road and got drinks and food highly recommend there

Wouldn't bother coming here again five pound odd for a pint when you can go the royal the royal hotel and sit in comfort for more or less the same price or a little walk to south road much cheaper used to be in here all the time aswell when was doing judo next doorFood: 2/5
Had a lovely night for a dear colleagues retirement. Excellent customer service from start to finish. We took our own buffet this time, however the process from booking to the end was excellent. Lovely atmosphere and very helpful staff.Food: 5/5
Visited here on Sat 4th Nov to see up and running . Had a fab night..Great atmosphere,and Excellent staff make you feel so welcome..its such a nice pub. We went bk last sat again for more live entertainment. Enjoyed it immensely.. wish all places were like this. . Service: 5/5
I had my mums funeral and celebration of her life here, from viewing the venue, booking it and the celebration itself; the hosts Paula and Alan were fantastic and so helpful. The buffet they put on was brilliant, delicious and plentiful. The bar staff were excellent and to top it all off they let us bring our little dog as we didn't have a dog sitter : Highly recommended, thank you so much!
Lovely, clean and welcoming pub. Offers varied entertainment and a good selection of drinks! Beer garden is fantastic and well maintained. Outdoor bands and singers in the summer, get in early for seats! Alan and Paula lovely owners
