Great food and superb staff, my daughter loved it
It must be under new management, nicer place to be than I remember. Nice sitting outside and a great location in Port Sunlight. I hope the new team are successful and look forward to going back.
The room was clean, had a good sized tv and the bed was super comfy. Shower pressure was a bit disappointing but was hot. The pub has a really good food menu ans some well priced food challenges for big eaters. The location and building was very nice, situated in a historic part of town. All in all a good stay.
Waiting on staff were lovely. We ordered 4 roast dinners that were awful and seem to have been made using very cheap ingredients. Whilst sitting I saw at least 2 plates being sent back to the kitchen.
Always been a good pub, first time visiting since Covid. All measures in place and a well organised, pleasurable catch up had! Certainly a place to enjoy the 'New Normal'
First experience of eat out to help out. Really well spaced and covid safety well adhered too. Menu a little limited especially for veg! Lots of things unavailable too, presumably due to current demand. On the whole a good experience. Well done staff!
All 3 meals were cold and we had to wait ages for them to be remade. Then they ran out of tikka sauce for the burger. They gave us some free garlic bread and a discount on the bill. Staff were lovely and apologetic but wont be returning.
