From the outside the Brown Cow looks no different from your ordinary run of the mill pub, but this is very deceiving. If you walk through the pub to the beer garden you would be very surprised. It's massive, it's a lot bigger than the actual pub itself and it's very well done. They've built booths down one wall that can give you seclusion or sit in the middle to work on your suntan. The staff are very friendly and there is a good range of drinks. Well worth a visit just to see the beer garden.

Great little pub with a nice atmosphere. not a place to go for real ales. Has a large outdoor seating area.
Had heard this place had one of the best beer gardens, but it really isn't anything to shout home about. Pub inside is quite small, and the beer and cider selection was disappointing.
Quiet for a Thursday night. Good selection of beers. Didn't go out into beer garden although it is nice, just not warm enough.Service: 3/5

Great pub, lots of fun. Local vibe with great live music over the weekend. Very clean and good atmosphere. No food, it's a good knees up kind of place!
