It's alright, but very quiet whenever I'm in. It's definitely got an established clientele, and while the staff and service are alright this does give the place a little bit of an unfriendly atmosphere, especially if you just want to pop in of an evening and have a quiet drink.
Staple watering hole for watching the match with a loyal clientele. Food is always touch and go because you never know if a chef has been taken on or not. Still my go to :

Fresh coffee!
In here yesterday for a quick half. It's a great pub, nice clean interior, beer garden and small kids play area at the back and a lovely pint of Guinness. Probably the best pub on Picton rd.
