Staff are always welcoming, especially when you have 5 kids tagging along! We go for the breakfast buffet and can’t fault the food. The only exception would be the toast. A toaster would be best as the toast isn’t the best made and kept warm. We were served by Laura today and she was absolutely lovely! Polite and very cheery with the kids!!
We were served by Catlin and from the moment she welcomed us she was so attentive and friendly and helpful. She made our experience even better as she was a breath of fresh air. My meal was really delish The atmosphere was really nice and the location was perfect. The kids played outside for a bit too and the weather was beautiful. Thank you We shall be back for sure
We had such a great time at Allerton Hall. We were served by Jojo and she was so kind and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. The food was incredible everything we ordered was super delicious! It was such a fantastic experience overall, and we can’t wait to come back. Big thanks to Jojo for making our visit special!
What a find! Located in quiet and beautiful park. Amazing building and rooms huge inside hereFeels like you are in a museum or an expensive restaurant but without high price to pay. Great for family with kids as well see my comment on that. Especially parents with little kids would know how difficult to relax in a nice place for a meal… Food quality is decent but it’s generous and keeping the price so low felt like they were subsidised!. I know already many people mentioned but the great selection of cakes and desserts…They are massive and look fantastic! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, pricing, huge rooms with lots space between tables, and the play ground you can let kids out while you can watch them from your table. Spot on!
Food arrived cold , sent it back , same one came back heated up , chicken was dry and hard , salad wasn't best , brown on edges. A member of staff asked if my food was ok , I paused and said what had just happened, asked if I wanted a fresh one which I should have got in first place, but I declined as I was very hungry and had already waited 35 minutes before I received cold hunters chicken. My partners smoutherd chicken was just warm too, saying that the chips were nice and hot. Used to like going here.
A stunning restaurant, beautiful inside and out and the food, just wow!! Meat was very tender, melted in my mouth, plenty of choice with potatoes, and a wide range of veg, including mashed carrot and suede which I absolutely love. Granddaughter ate every last bite, we app did. You really have to come here to try it yourself, you will not be disappointed. Staff, especially Jo Jo, as soon as she saw me on my mobility scooter, she held the door open for me, greeted us with a smile and shown us to our table. She came back with a children's menu for my granddaughter and crayons for her to colour her menu. This restaurant really is absolutely amazing. Will definitely come again.
Lovely place, nice location, beautiful garden, eat in or out. fast service and great carvery buffet with fresh and tasty food and not expensive. good and friendly service by waiters/waitresses with some English humor. The have the menu 'Lunch and Laugh' as well. Loved it.Food: 5/5
Came here 2 weeks ago with friends. The food was lovely and we all got different things, I recommend the beef lasagne delicious! And the staff were really lovely and nothing was any trouble. The only think there is no separate bar area. It's just the dining room. It would have been nice to go and sit in a bar area after our meal to relax. They have a lovely outside seating area with nice tables & chairs, but it was raining. And I know we can't predict the weather, but would be great if they had a separate bar area, because you can't sit outside all the time especially in the autumn/winter months. Vegetarian options: One of my friends got the meat free meatballs and she said they were absolutely delicious.
Managed to get a table on Fathers Day and it was really busy but this did not affect the lovely food or the amazing service. The staff are a real credit to this place. I had paid a £15 deposit online when booking which was to be taken off the bill but when my husband went to order he forgot to mention it so because it was our mistake we had written it off and thought no more about it. Then today I got a lovely surprise I got a call from Sarah who had noticed this had happened and refunded it back on to my card. We are repeat customers anyway but this has just confirmed why we like the place so much. Thanks again
Visited here for a breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. We were welcomed by JoJo who was very friendly and really helpful. She took us to our seat and checked on us regularly throughout our meal. Nothing was too much for trouble for her. Sarah who served us at the bar was also very friendly and chatty. We ordered the All Day Breakfast from the main menu. Food was excellent quality and amazing value for money Also had some smaller breakfasts available til 12.
