Second time we have been here and again there were problems with food, had to send the chicken burger back because it was missing onion rings, cheese and sauces. The beef burger came and patty was like rubber, wouldn’t recommend getting a double. Fries were few and either bad quality or undercooked but got left, won’t be returning for food, should have learnt the first time
A busy but welcoming pub. Staff are pleasant and welcoming. Food was delicious. Definitely one of the best sizzling pubs we’ve visited.Food: 5/5
Haven't been here for many years. Just turned up on a Saturday about 4pm. Plenty of free tables and the outside area is lovely. Meals were great - recommend fish and chips - 2 for the price of onr and beautifully cooked. Service great. Atmisphere - good but very noisy can hardly hear yourself speak. It's well worth a visit.Food: 5/5
Went here with my boyfriend for a weekday tea table 10. We were really pleasantly surprised. Lovely beer garden, interior was nicely decorated, nice atmosphere, nice food, and good offers on the app. But what really set it apart was the service, the staff were fantastic. Cathy was lovely, really attentive and brilliant at her job, but more than that, she was down to earth, polite and chatty. I used to be a food and beverage manager in a hotel and I would have been proud to have Cathy on my team. Halfway house - look after her she’s a good one!
Not been in a while, was the best carvery by far however it's a lovely pub with friendly staff. Love the colour scheme and the function room is a nice size. However nothing beats an ice cold Coors in the beer gardenFood: 5/5
Visited here for the first time for lunch and it was a 10 out of 10, The food was amazing and are Waitress and Manager was so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends. Thank you all for a lovely experience .xxFood: 5/5
Good value meals. Cathy was amazing and really added to the dining experience. Nothing was too much for Cathy, and it was clear she works really hard being the only waitress, but nonetheless she ensures guests are looked after. I would return again just to see the lovely Cathy!Food: 4/5
Waitress Kathy was very welcoming and had our reserved table ready. She is very hard working, she never stopped. She took our order and explained the kitchen was busy and there may be a wait. When the food came, it was beautifully cooked and presented.
Visited Saturday, really friendly welcome from every staff member we came across, Quick service at the bar and really tasty food. The new cocktails are really good too. We will definitely be back soon!
Came in today to taste the new menu and it was spectacular! The food was amazing, the lady who served us Cathy was lovely, always asking us about drink refills and the man behind the bar mark always had a smile on his face, the staff in here are nothing but friendly, thank you halfway!
