Great bar with a fantastic outdoor space, perfect for sunny days. There is plenty of seating and a good atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the service is quick. Would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a chilled outdoor drinking spot. Five stars!nnTheir house pale is always the best, but they also bring ales from local breweries. I feel like their Blue moon has a taste.
Food great. The one thing that I can't look past is that when it's busy they don't just let people wait at the bar in conventional fashion. We need to stop normalising single file queues which often stretch way out of the door at busy times. Bars are designed as such that people stand along the length of it. If I want a drink I shouldn't have to leave the building.
Visited Wednesday. Basking in the sun in the beer garden to the side, friendly staff. Very quick to get served as was very busy due to sunny rare days we having as of late. Cider never tasted so good. Big shout out goes to the young lass with dark hair who grafted the delivery that afternoon like a machine in the heat then offered the two delivery blokes a drink!!
Friendly staff, good food at very reasonable prices. Good selection of draft/cask ale. Bit of a hike to the loo up a tight staircase, but no more so than a Spoons and it had some really interesting posters so was worth the walk. Really busy ... which is a good sign. Definitely a popular place. Interesting to see somewhere so busy on a Saturday afternoon. Great new find for me.
Really lovely pub tucked away in the ouseburn. It was buzzing with people due to the weather which was great. Prices for drinks were incredible and so cheap. We had a great time. Sadly the toilets are upstairs which is a bit rubbish, especially if you struggle with stairs. The only reason I'm knocking it to four stars is due to the toilet situation and also having a pint that wasn't great. Informed staff I thought the line was off as the pint tasted awful and was completely flat. They just laughed and agreed. Apart from that minor issue it was lovely and had a brilliant atmosphere. No parking here so you're better off travelling in by foot.
