Great for catching up with friends and family as the noise level is pretty low in there but great atmosphere all the same. Bar staff are great if you like your ale... Slightly condescending if you just fancy a pint of something plain and ordinary, but hey, ale is their thing so don't be surprised (or care)

Beautiful old pub serving a fantastic selection of real ales. The locals all flock here which is a good sign. The record player on the bar is a great touch too

Absolutely love this little gem of a pub. So comfy, lovely warm welcome, brilliant ales and vinyl playing on the antique record player. Lifts my heart every time I visit.
