Just back from a phenomanal 3 night stay at the Tontine Peebles. At the risk of the hotel being too popular I give this a 5 star rating. We were   group of five motorcyclists. Off road covered parking straight forward check great choice for breakfast. Clean room Great service from all staff. Will return. Also noted the place has dog friendly rooms. Central for Peebles

Excellent hotel! We stayed in the Innes room and our son had a standard room. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had a room on the front, which despite being on the main street, was quiet and comfortable.  We were welcomed by Laura, who was friendly, helpful and welcoming.  We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing, extremely high quality. The waiting staff were all friendly and helpful and helped make the whole experience wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Tontine and will definitely be back.

Myself and my partner booked lady minute. It is a lovely hotel friendly staff and dog friendly too. Beds were fairly comfy. Small complaint that there was one packet of biscuits with 2 biscuits in !  and only 2 tea bags in the room. Some hot chocolate satchets would have been great, too. I'm not sure if this is standard as there were more coffee satchets. Breakfast was ok sausages weren't though.

We have used the Tontine for ourselves and guests over the last 15 years and they are consistently excellent! Really well trained staff, who are professional and friendly, good rooms, great food, superb bike storage. Overall another fabulous stay - thanks team Tontine!
