The Border Hotel is an historic award winning pub based in the beautiful village of Kirk Yetholm at the foot of the Cheviot Hills.

Story

The historic (dating from 1750) Border Hotel sits at the head of the green in Kirk Yetholm. It's thatched roof and atttractive appearance welcomes guests with friendly staff, good food and rooms.

The Border Hotel offers:

Five En Suite Bedrooms.
Function room with seating up to 50 covers.
Restaurant serving Fresh local produce.
Public bar serving Real Ales with log fire in the winter.

Friendly and the service was exceptional- nothing was too much trouble. The beer was very good ( good selection of ales) and there was enough food to feed several small armies. Clean and tidy and marvellously efficient. A real Border Gem

Lovely borders hotel. Great choice of food on the menu and all freshly made by the chef. Nothing frozen here other than the peas  maybe! Staff very keen to help and nothing was too much of a problem.

Recently changed owners and if they can keep the standards like this they will do very well. Thanks for a great meal.

Limited food menu. Children's menu very limited. Needs reviewing for spring/summer menu.

Ace! A long walk to get there but worth every mile for great service and great beer. New menu looks delicious too!

Beautiful building in a prime location in kirk Yetholm. Lovely staff, especially the glasgwegian lady who is full of wonderful stories and excellent topics of conversation... People like this make establishments stand out and the lady is a shining example of this.
