Friendly staff, food was quick. The food was that good I had to leave a review! My fiancé said the best pork belly ever had! The pudding was chocoholic dream. No complaints here : 5 stars
Have been to this pub a few times under different ownership, this time was great, my wife had the pork belly which was really nice, I had the burger , which is actually a double burger, great value for money and the bun stayed together , I really enjoyed my burger, the place is very disables friendly straight from the car park, they are dog friendly in the bar as I saw locally a having a pint with there dog. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is good, they fixed the toilet problem since my last visit , we’ll done. Been 3 or 4 times a, would definitely recommend and will return again in the new year.
At a beautiful spot in Stowting, nr Ashford and hidden from main road, is this amazing pub find, decorated with beautiful wood, furnishings and opulent touches everywhere. A really fabulous dining experience with delicious food to match. Not overly sophisticated but well seasoned, and generous portions. My smoked salmon fishcake with fish eggs was so huge I had to take half of it home! Partner really enjoyed his pork belly with apple pastry and the vegetables were well cooked and nicely presented.
Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Tiger Inn today! Our first visit since 2017 and we love the revamp. Excellent service from Max and the rest of the team, delicious food and the Tiger Reviver cocktail tasted amazing. We'll definitely be back soon!
We absolutely loved our lunch at the Tiger Inn. The decor is so cosy and comforting apparently it’s been recently renovated, the service was great and the food is delicious! The menu is extensive and everything we ordered was top notch. Highly recommend
Well worth those 5*. From the friendly welcome we received, relaxing and comfortable seating area. Very attentive waiting staff that was ever so amiable, chatty and came across very happy, contented members of staff. We did not feel pressured into ordering our meals. Each course totally blowing us away with taste and presentation. Complements to their chief, the meal was worth every penny. Will be travelling the 40 miles again real soon to enjoy more of their menu. Highly recommend.
First time back since new owners, menu looked amazing, great specials, then cold starter, quarter of a duck breast for main, cold gnocchi, and great dessert. Overall if they could iron out the issues it would be back to 5 stars, but for our night very disappointing.
The pubs decor is very nice, with a relaxed atmosphere. The food and service is to a high standard with fantastic presentation. All other reviews are high and are justified. I would like to say more but would like you to go for yourself and experience this hidden gem.
We've previously visited this pub but only during summer for drinks, so we were looking forward to eating there. It didn't disappoint at all, the staff were brilliant - polite, helpful and a good sense of humour! The food was the best I've eaten in a pub, couldn't fault it. I had the corn fed chicken breast & my husband had the rump steak. Thank you for a wonderful evening & we'll most certainly be back.
I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. My whole family was very pleased with both the service and the interior and, of course, the highest class of cuisine - I would say the food is worthy of a Michelin star!
