Very good food.. Reasonable price.. Better go for combo with drink.. All these meal on the photos and drinks cost us only £38.00
We parked at the back of the restaurant and cut through the car park. The disabled access was fairly easy as was getting around the inside with the wheelchair. There is a wheelchair lift that takes you up and down a couple of steps which was operated by a staff member who was more than happy to help me. The disabled toilet was of good size and clean. The food was fairly good compared to some breakfasts I had in a spoons restaurant. The staff members were all great and the food which was all at a decent temperature and edible no burnt toast, cremated bacon or cold beanswas served fairly quickly. Could not complain about anything on this visit.
Me and the wife love a weatherspoons normally great value for money. We both had a burger meal drink deal sadly on this occasion the burgers were very grisly every bit so we were constantly spitting out grisly not nice. We will not be ordering burgers again. They are normally good. The staff service was very good friendly and fast.
A beautiful old 18th century building with a few small levels up from the front door - the single bar is over two of these. The pub was clean and tidy with the usual array of seating options. Two sort of outdoor seating areas out the back. The staff were pleasant and the Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar.
We have come in a few times and the same lady served us, the first time she threw our drinks onto the table and rolled her eyes when we asked for straws even though we had asked for them when we ordered and never came back with them. it also took over an hour to get one drink, we then asked for a refund as the service was horrific but they just ignored us and we never got a refund. We came back when it was dead in the bar and she rolled her eyes at us again and was rude when taking our drink orders. When ordering on the app it said my drink came with strawberries but never did. I ordered it a few times, I also asked about it and they seemed as though they were going to put some in my drink, however they never did. Another staff member just walked across the room putting up her middle finger.

They forgot my chips, but I got them quickly after I said. I had a baguette, which was tasty. The service was nice, and the food didn't take long.
They have a car park out back but customers can’t use it?? Has allocated spaces then asked a rude staff member behind the bar where to go she said she didn’t know yet pay and display 30 yards down the road. Put me off completely very poor service if you don’t like your job change it
Nice place to go to for a cheap lunch or if you are on a night out you can get some good deals on drinks or shots
Like all Wetherspoons pubs, it is clean and friendly, and the food isn't too bad. Drinks are very reasonably priced.
